National Cat Day

National Cat Day

One day a year, the world officially agrees with what your cat has believed since kittenhood: this is their house, and we are guests in it.

National Cat Day falls on Thursday, October 29 this year. Here's how to mark it.

How to Celebrate with Your Cat

New toys. Something that crinkles, something that moves unpredictably. The unpredictable ones hold their attention longest.

A better snack than usual. They will pretend this was expected.

A photo shoot. Catch the look they give you when you interrupt a nap. Tag it #NationalCatDay.

Extra lap time. Or just let them sleep on you while you scroll cat videos. Honestly, this is the one they'd pick.

Celebrate with Nocciola Toys

Our cat toys are built around what cats already want to do — stalk, chase, bat, pounce, and then abandon the thing mid-pounce for no reason.

Some are stuffed with catnip. Some crinkle. Some are shaped like fish, which cats have opinions about.
